Our Temple, ‘Hindu Temple & Cultural Center’, has grown at a significant pace over the past 3-5 years, thanks to our growing community. We have reached a point where we need to address following pain points:
– Our ‘Hindu Temple’ sanctum area is falling short on accommodating devotee requests. Our plan is to address the following as part of the expansion project:
- move Ganesh ji’s sthapna & provide more space to have pratikama around it
- build a Priest room, dedicated space for them to relax and plan puja / events
- move Managers office to current Library – so that they can have an eagle eye view of the temple
- move Footwear section to the hallway
– Our ‘Cultural Center’ is calling for your help to better serve and cater to activities like Balvihar, Hindi Class and more. To name some of these challenges:
- For past 17 years, devoted volunteers have worked with our children to teach them Hindi language and about the culture and customs of Hinduism “BalVihar”.
- For several years, they have expressed a need for additional classroom space. As a result of which, classes are conducted having kids seating on the floor in the community hall.
- Enlightening Childrens has direct correlation to Shaping our Community.
We believe that it’s time to support this project and complete the expansion in a timely manner.
